The Thermostat housing for VW Passat 1.8T fit the engine very well and has not failed in 10 months. The original engine plastic in these cars seems to have durability problems in hot climates and URO plastics seems to hold up better than the original. I have bought a number of URO parts for the car and in general the quality and durability seem to be very good.

mine had a split in it, this was super easy to replace, tho the lower part was tough to remove.
