I often have to connect video equipment as part of my job and I have to deal with a mixture of coaxial connector types,So I carry a selection of cables plus adaptors.However these male to female adaptors don’t serve much of a purpose. If I plug one onto the end of a cable with a male plug I simply end up with the equivalent of a longer male plug.Similarly if I plug one onto the end of a cable with a female plug I simply end up with the equivalent of a longer female.plug.Male to male or female to female adaptors are useful as gender changers or cable couplers but I can’t see what these could be used for.
