This won't stop someone with serious bolt cutters but, it stop someone from just walking away with your bike and it will also slow anyone without bolt cutters down.Cable does not rust or kink.Plastic has not worn through.Ends are well protected and do not scratch my fingers or bike paint.Ends are nicely sized to work with most locks.

This cable is perfecter securing my bike to my hitch mounted rack. It's long enough to go through the safety chain hole on the hitch, so even if the rack it damaged, the bike it attached to the vehicle. The ferrules are wrapped in heavy black vinyl, so there is no exposed wire to scratch surfaces. The coating on the braided cable is which, but flexible, so the cable can be woven through things. I'm very happy with the cable. It will be a big deterrent to potential thieves eyeballing my bikes if I have to leave the vehicle and bikes unattended.

This is very flimsy but will do a decent job with a good lock attached. It makes me feel more secure about a quick lock up. Im not sure i would use this as an overnight solution though
