I expected, based on the description, that this would track not just horizontally but also vertically. Not so. Although I started the return process within minutes of receiving it, so haven't actually used it, it was obvious on examination that the only vertical changes would be manual and fixed, prior to, and during the horizontal tracking. Worse, the app required to control the device was blocked by Google when I tried to install it as it was written for older versions of Android and lacked the security features that Google now requires.
