This plush Boomerang has his pros and cons but overall I'm in love! It's not often we get Boomerang merch here in the UK so I jumped at this opportunity when I saw he could be shipped from Europe.Pros:- He has a semi-realistic horse shape and I love it! A lot of horse plushies tend to just have tube shaped legs so this Schmidt plush is so unique.- I am quite surprised that this Boomerang actually stands on his own despite his thin legs. Was predicting that the legs was going to be floppy or understuffed but this plush was actually well stuffed.- He's a great carry-around size and measures 11 inches tall from front hooves to the top of his head.- The faux fur mane and tail is amazing quality too. It's not short and ugly like the JustPlay Spirit plushies, and it's also not ridiculously long like a lot of horse toys nowadays. The faux fur pile measures 2 inches which is a perfect natural short length but also long enough for it to still be brushable/combed.- The printed fabric for Boomerang's markings are near spot on and the seams in which they pass over have been matched up very well. The fabric pile is also going in the correct directions which is also perfect!- His eye embroidery looks great! They look friendly and are positioned in the correct placement on a horse.Cons:! The following cons are only me nitpicking at design choices. The entire plush itself is brilliant quality! If you're not worried about visual appearance then do skip to my overall view at the end :)- Firstly the colours are a little off from the original character and the stock. Schmidt Boomerang in person is a little too vanilla/creamy in person. My camera doesn't want to help me showcase this lol. I would suggest maybe going for a more ivory colour if it is ever possible to make changes in future. I'm cool with it for now though; it's not the worst of the design choices. Also the brown printed markings are a perfect shade.- The mane and tail is also off colour. He's a dark brown in both the Netflix series, latest film, and the YouTube series. I don't understand where a lot of these toy companies are getting the orange/rust colour from lol!- While I absolutely adore the use of the faux furs, I'm not a fan of the tail being sewn right-side out(please see photo). Sewing it on the wrong side then turning it right side out will hide the stitching and fabric backing. You guys managed to pull it off with his mane; Why not do the tail too! :D- My last little moan is the flat ears(please see photo). Just like the tail, it would look so much cleaner to sew two sides together then turn them right-side out to make 3D ears. The current flat ears feel a little rough around the edges, I'm guessing due to hotcut? I do also see the nostrils made in exactly the same way but to be honest, it's a super small area to work with so that is understandable. The nostrils don't look too bad to be honest so I wouldn't change those. Again this is all personal design nitpicks haha!Overall:I absolutely love this Boomerang plush and I am super pleased that I bought him! Again he is very well made and is perfect for both kids and collectors. I'm a collector so I am thrilled to have this beautiful plush be part of my small Boomerang collection.I'm pretty sure that the other two characters Spirit and Chica Linda would be of the exact same quality; So if you wish to get any of these Schmidt Spirit plushies then I can most certainly highly recommend them!I also hope these photos help anyone who visits this listing. I noticed there aren't many irl photos at the time of posting this review except for the stock image. It's nice to see more than one view of an item sometimes :)
