I love this and bought two, forgot to remove from the yard and the rain in the glass froze and it broke. Now I need another one, since we have such heavy rains, it’s nice to see the correct amount.

I bought this rain gauge last fall and loved it! Easy to ready. Simply place the stake in the ground and insert glass tube.However, it is not freeze proof as advertised. 😟 it froze and the glass tube broke. Definitely disappointed!

Minderwertige Qualität. Nicht einmal richtig verschweißt. Ich ging davon aus, dass alle Rohre aus Glas waren,Aber das Hauptrohr ist Kunststoff und das kleine Rohr aus Glas passt nicht in die Halterung. Ich fühle mich über den Tisch gezogen.

ACHTUNG: Die Scalen-Beschriftung ist NUR in Inch - unbrauchbar. Der Zusammenbau ist hakelig da die Gewinde sehr schlecht geschnitten sind. Sofort zurück geschickt.

It may be frost proof but it is not freeze proof.The bottom was gone the first time the temperature dropped to the 20s. Gauge is marked in 8ths, not 10ths. A bit confusing, but otherwise a quality product. The glass is heavy enough that it isn’t fragile and the numbers are large enough to be seen at a short distance.

I especially like the adjustable height feature, and I have it set at the highest height, which works perfectly for my setup. The rain gauge has been accurate in measuring rainfall, providing reliable data.I've placed it next to my patio fence behind a rose bush, where it blends in nicely and isn't easily visible from the outside.
