enjoying the skateboard by Powell-Peralta. fun tool to regain balance. not hoping to learn the hard way and hit the pavement too often. I'm wearing my ppe (gloves, helmet, knee pads) since I'm getting back into it with my son. very smooth wheels.

I bought this skateboard 5 months ago, when i first got it, it looked fine overall but the board was warped, I tried loosening the hardware in some parts to make balanced as if the problem is not from the board being warped, it looked like its fixed then after some skating its back, not a big of a deal but when i fall or push the board alone it does not go in a straight line.Bearings took a while to break in but lasted for 4.5 month till i skated it in a rainy day with mud and stuff.The board itself is sturdy, i'm 230 pounds and ollied over 150+ times over this board it didnot break or chip .The Trucks are a bit low for me i think because when i first skated it i used to get wheel bite so what i did was i tightened them and put some wax on the wheel bite marks just in case and it worked well but i would recommend buying a set of risers.the wheels are great they still look the same since i bought them but dirty of course i bombed hills with them on rough streets alot of times and not a flat spot or anything. Its hard to get the bearing out of the wheel they are so tight in there but not a big deal.The griptape held well but would recommend sanding it from the sides or it will start to come of while doing tricks.it served me well i learn how to ollie and shove it on this board but its time to get a new bigger one because of my big feet.If your a young kid and wanna buy your first complete i would recommend going to your local skateshop but if ur too lazy this is a good choice for beginners.
