Very good grip, durable, always sharp, depth remain in place (doesn't slide in), good quality wire cutter blades.On the negative side: price, a bit expensive.

I've a range of wire strippers, three of them being automatic.In short, I think if you've got several hundred strips to make, inside a PLC, etc, this is the tool you're wanting; they nailed the design by having a front-on strip approach for tight spaces, the front-on / open-mouth cutter that enables you to clip a wire without hand contortions, nor sliding the wire through and travelling several feet to get to the desired area; it also allows for cutting pressure adjustment, so as not to score fine wire. The tool is incredibly light weight and will go unnoticeable in your pouch.The cons? I find the cutting pressure to be a bit finicky as to whether it'll grip right; as it stands, the tool is best suited for many cuts with the same type of wire, changing wire types often could prove to be aggravating.I think Phoenix Contact makes decent gear, I really loved then crimper and termination screwdrivers, so I figured I'd add the Wirefox 10 to the roster...being as it went on sale. At $130 CA I still think the tool is about $50 too overpriced, $80 CA would still seem pricey but the allure of convenience and marketing would prove too tempting to overlook for long.I won't be giving up any of my other strippers just yet though, they all have their place where they out do eachother. The Klein Katapult is incredibly durable and works well, it just has a non ergonomic spread for it's handles during long periods of use; the cutter, while handy, requires you to pass the wire all the way along to get to where you need to cut; I feel they could take more abuse than the Phoenix though.The Klein auto strippers are great for residential applications because they can cut the outer NMD jacket, as well as the wire, in two motions and without adjustment - that's really handy! And the cutter is open-mouthed, so you can cut immediately at the area you wish, but it does require an unwanted contortion of the hand.I also have the grey handled manual Klein strippers because sometimes it's more desirable to have pliers that can twist wires to be marrette'd if you're not using Wago terminations, also they have the reamer for EMT and can function as a hammer to tighten lock-nuts, etc.So, you see what I mean by all the strippers have their advantage?In closing, if you can get the Wirefox's on sale then, by all means, try them out for yourself; I think you'll enjoy the addition but it's not something you'd die without if you've no other auto strippers.

Die Abisolierzange fühlt sich gut an. Ich habe damit 0,25 bis 6,0 mm2 Adern Abisoliert, dies hat sie ohne Probleme gemeistert. Die Abisolierzange ist mit der Weidmüller Stripax AWG 28-7 vergleichbar.LG

Hatte ich mir irgendwie besser vorgestellt.Zwar schneidet die Zange die Isolierungen recht gut ab, die Einstellung für die Isolationsdicke scheint aber nicht wirklich zu funktionieren. Selbst bei sehr Dünnen Adern schafft die Zange die Isolierung nicht wenn man sie nicht auf annähernd maximale Einstellung stellt, was dann zur Folge hat, dass manchmal feine Adern rausgerissen werden.Für den Preis nicht empfehlenswert.
