My 15yo Labrador has a severely arthritic knee, which leads to various short-term injuries to her other legs as they compensate. She sometimes has trouble getting her back legs up, and is difficult to lift due to my own back injury - this harness has made it so easy to help her up when she’s having a flare up, get her in and out of the car without strains to either of us, and has made vet and physiotherapy/rehab appointments infinitely easier for all of us. My vets have been so impressed that they’ve taken photos of her in it and gotten details off me for their other clients. Compared to other similar options, it’s very affordable and exactly what we needed. She’s also very comfortable having it on for a few days at a time if she’s having a prolonged flare, which makes life much easier for us.

My dog hurt her right back leg and keeps reinjuring it, and getting in and out of our car is really hard on her as there is not enough room for me to lift her into the car without hurting myself as well, as the back door of our 4-door newer model car does not open all that wide. I tried to pick her up and lift her into the car from the ground but she was squirmy and it was difficult trying to get her front and back ends in without injuring her and in the process I injured my own back, so I knew I needed to get something to help me get her into the car without either of us getting hurt. I knew I needed something to lift at both the front and the back and this full body lifting harness fit the bill. It is easy enough to apply with some adjustment of straps to make it fit my dog's size. I reviewed some YouTube videos of people using and putting on this Pet Safe full body harness to make sure I was doing it properly, and found them extremely helpful. The harness does come with a very brief instruction pamphlet on how to apply the harness, but I found the YouTube videos made it so much clearer. My dog does not seem to mind the harness once I get it on her and she can pee and pooh fine without dirtying the harness while wearing it. Just remember to take the hard plastic molded curved adapter to allow for it to fit over the male's penis, that is in a Velcro closed section on the belly strap part that goes around the dog's body in front of the dog's back legs if you are wearing it on a female dog, so that the strap fits more comfortably on the female dog's belly. I do not know how the belly strap with the male adaptor inset would fit over a male dog's penis, but the belly strap can be clipped off to the top side of the back harness off the dog's belly so a male dog could pee anyways. I use the easy to grab and hold lift handles over the shoulder on the front half of the harness and the one over her hips at the back to lift her as I am a smaller sized short person so this works best for me, and I find it gives me the most control in directing where I want her front feet and back feet to go. You can attach the front harness and back harness with an included Y-clip on extension piece and this helps keep the back harness from slipping off especially if you do not have the belly band on, but I did not have a problem with the back half of the harness slipping off even without it on, but I put it on when I have the full harness on her anyways. You can use the connecting front to back harness strap to help lift the dog and there is also a shoulder strap that you can hook to each of the harness halves and then put over your shoulder so you can lift the dog up like that I did not try lifting my dog with the back connecting strap or the shoulder strap, but some of the videos on You Tube do show this. I am very pleased with this harness as once I got it adjusted it fit nice, It took a few tries to get the straps adjusted just tight enough on my dog so having patience is a key factor. Even my Veterinarian was impressed with this Pet Safe full body harness design and particularly like that it had the the two parts for lifting as the Vet. pointed out that lifting from the shoulders and hips prevents twisting of the dog's back and risk of further injury. Overall this was money well spent and more than worth it, as it allows me me to lift my 45 lb. dog in and out of the back seat of our car without injury to the dog or myself.

Es muy util para mi perra pues no se podia levantar ni para lo mas basico, se ha sentido mejor y para sus revisiones en el vererinario hace los movimientos mas utiles y ella no se lastima ni le incomoda, hicimos una muy buena compra con este arnés para contribuir a su recuperación; mi perra tiene casi 14 años y pesa 18 kg. El arnés se ve que soporta mas peso, de excelente calidad y acabados.

In unseren Retourbedingungen geben wir an, dass der Artikel nicht am Tier anprobiert werden darf."Ich muss es aber doch anprobieren, um zu testen, ob ich meinen Hund damit bequem und sicher tragen kann.Ich kann das Argument verstehen, dass es aus hygienischen Gründen nicht anprobiert werden darf.Aber: Ich finde es nicht in Ordnung, dass man auf der Artikelseite bei Amazon in der Produktbeschreibung nicht darauf hingewiesen wird. Der Hinweis findet sich anscheinend nur in den Retourbedingungen - also im Kleingedruckten.Diese Rezension hier also als Warnung an alle Käufer.Ich werde versuchen, das an sich gute Geschirr bei E-Bay - Kleinanzeigen zu verkaufen.

Unsere Schäferhündin hat mit 13 Jahren die Diagnose DM bekommen und braucht mittlerweile zum überwinden von Hindernissen oder beim Treppensteigen Hilfe.Da sie vor kurzem auch Durchfall hatte und wir bis zu 5 mal in der Nacht raus mussten, lernte ich es sehr zu schätzen, dass das Geschirr alle Öffnungen frei lässt.Ich kombiniere wohl das Hintere Teil mit ihrem Alten K9 Brustgeschirr, da sich das leichter und Schneller anlegen lässt.Lebenslange Garantie vergeben die ohne ins Schwitzen zu kommen, bei sachgemäßer Handhabe dürfte das Teil 2 Hundeleben Überstehen.Praktisch im übrigen auch der Tragegurt, wenn Vali nicht mehr kann, trag ich sie halt. Bei 35 KG sicher nicht Jedermanns Sache, aber prinzipiell geht's sehr gut und der Hund beschwert sich kein Stück.Praktisch finde ich auch, daß in die Ösen des Hinteren Teils die Leine eingehängt werden kann, grad Bergab bekommt sie so, bei passender Länge der Leine, Stabilität und trotzdem bleibt ein Trainingseffekt.Kleiner Tipp hier, ein Expander macht das ganze noch geschmeidiger.Ich hab lang gesucht und konnte nichts besseres in dem Preissegment finden.Alternativen aus dem militärischen Bereich bieten fast als einzige die gleichen Möglichkeiten und Verarbeitungsqualität aber kosten locker das 3 Fache.Klare Empfehlung von mir und Vali.

Relativ klein geschnitten. Wir verwendeten es für einen 3 Beiner mit inkompletten Querschnitt. Das vordere ging gar nicht, aber das hingere konnte ich gut umbauen um es zum Trainieren zu verwenden. Breitere Gurte mit Polsterung wären gut. Es hat uns über Monate gute Dienste geleistet.

Schlechte Passform,, Karabiner zu gross und zu schwer,,Beinschlingen schneiden beim tragen ein, sind zu dünn, leider kann man es nicht mehr umtauschen nach der Anprobe,, insgesammt ein schlechter Kauf 😳

Mein Hund ist alt und damit bekomme ich ihn gut ins Auto und wieder raus.Dieser Punkt kommt bei fast jedem Tier, aber beim Hund gibt es wenigstens noch solche Hilfen!

Dieses Geschirr ist ein Segen als Treppen- und Laufhilfe. Super Qualität, gut verstellbar, der Hund ist komplett zum Hochheben. Als Unterstützungfür den Hund eine enorme Entlastung.

Produkt genau wie beschrieben und sehr hilfreich, jedoch bei meiner Boxerhündin hinten ein wenig zu groß (sie ist auf Grund ihrer DM hinten sehr schmal geworden) und vorne passt es gerade noch (vorne ist sie auf Grund ihrer Krankheit sehr muskulös), man sollte wirklich genau messen und falls nötig vorne und hinten einzeln bzw verschiedene Größen kaufen.
