Leider wird dieser Dämper nicht mit einem Konus von unten wie abgebildet befestigt, sondern mit einer Schraube an der Lampen bzw. Schutzblechhalterung. Somit passte er bei mir nicht. Ich habe den Artikel (2 Stück) zurückgesendet und bis heute keine Erstattung erhalten. Keine Reaktion vom Shop. Mein Geld ist anscheinend futsch....

Ich habe den Artikel retourniert weil er an meinem Fahrrad nicht angebaut werden konnte, schade habe nicht richtig geschaut.Ansonsten ist alles komplett mit verständlicher Anbauanleitung

Für den Preis sicherlich okay. Für mein Lenkrad definitiv eine zu schwache Feder mit zu günstigem Material.Zusätzlich hätte ich mich gefreut, wenn es keine lackierten Teile wären, da meine Dynamoleitung auch noch über die vordere Gabel geleitet wird.

Die Montage war sehr fummelig. Man braucht eigentlich drei Hände.Nach der Montage zeigt sich keinerlei Wirkung. Also völlig unbrauchbar.Sollte man eigentlich zurück senden.

Im ersten Moment beim auspacken wirkte es zunächst wertig, bei der Montage zeigten sich allerdings massive Probleme. Die Befestigungsschelle am Rahmen ist aus Kunststoff einschließlich der dazu notwendigen Madenschraube. Festziehen ist nicht wirklich möglich und ein verrutschen der Befestigung am Rahmen nicht auszuschließen. Von den Madenschraube sind auch schon zwei im Lieferumfang und das Problem offensichtlich bekannt. Was aber noch schwerer wiegt, ist die viel zu Schwäche Zugfeder. Am Fahrrad meiner Frau ist zwar ein Körbchen, aber selbst unbeladen schlägt der Lenker zu weit um und strapaziert Kabel und Bremsleitungen übermäßig. Selbst ein kräftiges vorspannen bringt keine Besserung, die Feder ist erheblich zu schwach und die gesamte Konstruktion nicht zu empfehlen.

It is a very good product, it avoids the hassle of the cycle falling over, especially when you are using a twin centre stand. I use it on both my cycles, I am very satisfied, in fact I will be placing the order for yet another one, for my friends's Bicycle.

I'm the kind of shopper who will read bad reviews and think, I'd rather see how bad this thing is for myself. I installed this as best I could given that the instructions are more of the diagram than written variety. You begin by placing the down-tube strap around the tube, then push through the strap to form a ring, make sure the rubber strip that is in the package is between the ring and the bike's down tube, then insert the weird plastic screw (with the hex/Allen key hole) and begin screwing in gently without pushing in the weird screw. You'll do this until the ring seals tight, then install the brake bracket, the spring to both the brake bracket and the ring around the down-tube and finish installing by following the diagram. I strongly believe that the initial ring/down tube installation diagram was not adequate. My installation wasn't secure and the rubber strip ended up falling out.Once installed correctly and tightly, the spring itself isn't strong enough for my front wheel with no additional cargo let alone when my front basket is full. Actually when the basket is full, this damper works better! So, as is the saying online, your millage may vary,
