I have to be honest, I really dislike sanding down wood now!I needed 40 grit to sand back some beams that had been stained a dubious colour and darkened some rooms in an old cottage we are renovating. It quickly became very clear that I was going to need a LOT of sandpaper to do the job and buying packs of sheets was going to get expensive.I was using a Makita 1/3 sheet sander (absolutely outstanding sander by the way and far superior to the Bosch it replaced) and had been buying packs of 5 sheets.Considering these beams were chewing through it at a rate of a sheet every 15 minutes or so I had to find an alternative. This stuff is definitely the answer!NOTE:This is for sanders that use the clip fitting systems (i.e. a locking clamp at each end of the sander. You just measure out how much you need, then cut some more sheets as spares. This is not hole punched but I have never really found the holes punched in paper to make a lot of difference. It still produces a lot of dust and has had not impact on the sander itself. This is good quality, thick backed sandpaper with superior performance to any sheets I have used, including the Makita branded packs. The backing is the key point here. Many sheets are thin and brittle which makes for much cursing!A 5 metre roll gets you a LOT of sheets and makes a whole lot more financial sense if you are going to be using the sander a lot.Highly recommended and I have no reason to doubt the other grades will be anything other than excellent.

What more to say here,Good quality rolls, made in italy, easy enough to tear to size but i'd recommend a small scissor on hand.Works great !!Can recommend
