Das Drehgelenk von Kong ist deutlich teurer als ähnliche Produkte, aber durchdacht konstruiert und sauber verarbeitet. Ich freue mich, dass ich mich für Kong entschieden habe.

This is one of the best anchor swivels around, before venturing up into the superyacht fittings and associated prices.This Amazon supplier's price was much cheaper than anywhere else.The swivel is beautifully packaged and is very well engineered. The instructions are very clear that the side load strength is lower than the straight pull strength. It makes sense not to connect swivel directly to anchor in case the jaws bend when a side load is applied. I use this method: Anchor, anchor shackle then 3 links of next size up anchor chain then the swivel then the anchor chain and it is perfect. There are many swivels much cheaper but they are mainly Chinese and of unknown quality, test certification or breaking load. This is a well respected Italian product and load tests have shown it to be as good or better than specified by Kong. It is well worth researching anchor connections on the Internet as incorrectly used swivels can weaken the anchoring connection and are not justified unless one has a specific need for a swivel. I am impressed with my Kong swivel so far and feel it is a worthwhile investment in quality. Like myself, my friend has a 49ft ocean-going yacht and he has had a Kong fitted to his yacht for 20 years with no problems.
