This is very loose on my 3 year old so I've had to pin it but I suppose it will last for years to come. The styrofoam float supports are in little pockets that can be removed one at a time in the future to reduce boyancy and get her used to being lower in the water. The main issue right now is that the pockets are not quite tight enough and so with the loose fit & boisterous ocean play one of the syrofoam floats came out of the vest & I think I'll loosely sew the pockets shut to avoid this in the future. Could be made a bit better & I'd say 4/5+ is a more accurate age bracket for this vest.

Perfect for a day at the pool, the lifejacket is well made and doesn't have the usual hard rubber areas that scratch and cause friction burns under the arm. So far my daughter has loved it and the Pink colour really set it off and make easy to see, when with my wife (like a beacon) haha.

This float is well constructed and well designed. It provides a good level of support. Our disabled 5 year old granddaughter is unable to swim, meaning she needs to be held at all times. This provides her with the opportunity to free, but never out of arms reach. The level of support is good. My only criticism would be that the arm bands are permanently stitched to the main body. It might have been nice if they could have been detached.The colour we chose is vibrant and enables her to stand out in the water.
