If one intends to use a Gasland Portable Shower this pump is a must have. I tried my shower hoping gravity would be sufficient and I was proved wrong. I mounted it to a piece of wood and used my vehicle's battery for power. Great for Van Life!

On the boat, in a wash down kit, this pump delivers enough pressure at the hose nozzle to do its job of rinsing.To make this work, I had to use a bungy hose (shrinks when no pressure) and a a nozzle with good adjustable spray to get a jet. The pump self primes quickly, pressurizes the hose a d shuts off. When I use the hose I get awesome first blast and good jet to get the bird poop, then a steady rinse stream.So that works. Now to protect the wiring and intake so I can toss it like the anchor when I need a hose on the lake.

Excellent pump! Best part it is smaller than all water pumps on market. ! I love it. Trade off is that pumps 1.6 gal per min while others bigger ones are 2.3 gpm. This makes this pump ideal for sail boat and other smaller boats that cannot carry hundreds of liters of water. Pressure is standard so you still have extra control on faucet. this will reduce water waste when you are out there anchored .Pump has pressure switch and will stop when system is pressurized.Pump is very well made. Excellent HMPE plastics for mounting and pump body. it comes with standard thread plus there is quick connect adapters supplied with pump just in case u want to use garden adapters or use in garden with solar powered battery system.Overall great pump well made and so compact that it will have many uses. Excellent idea, good pump. low vibration and very very quiet.

The directions don't even indicate the inlet/outlet side, which doesn't really matter because there's a red plug/cap jammed into one of them. Also, the alligator clips pictured do not come with this...very misleading.
