I thought I was getting a quality German unit it all goes down hill when you see MADE IN CHINA! it gets worse! I turned the gear on the spindle and its sounds and feels like metal grinding badly and Ill bet if I dismantle it it wont have a drop of grease lubricating anywhere and how long will that last considering it takes 7 houres and an engine drop to fit?? and I could of bought a cheep Chinese motor for much less in the first place, and you cant even message them to ask anything due to a supposedly large amount messaging they receive YEA RIGHT! NO DOUBT COMPLAINTS AND DONT WANT TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS! LOOK ELSEWHERE. VERY UNHAPPY!!!

The product is fine except its 20mm longer than the original one. Which means that it hits the waterpump housing when fitting. The only way to fit this is to take off the bearing cover & hammer it down by 5mm to gain the access past the housing. Would I buy again? Yes but not for a Smart fortwo 450.
