I had a large beef joint to cook over Christmas, and without this device I, by experience, I would have cooked it for an hour. Because I have had a new oven I decided to purchase this to confirm my thoughts. The oven guide recommended a lower temperature than I would normally choose but I let the oven and this probe make the decisions. It was cooked perfectly! In less time and at a lower temperature than I would have used, so I think it will be very useful for, hopefully, years to come. It was interesting to see how long and by how much putting the meat in the oven lowered the internal temperature. I particularly like the feature that this device measures the internal temperature of the meat, and the ambient temperature of the oven. Very pleased with this purchase and at a value price

When I got the temp probe I followed all the instructions and tested it out before I cooked anything by see what the room temperature was the a held it in my hand and seemed to working great. I also let it turn my blue tooth on when I was close to it.So the first time I was going to cook something it did work and I very frustrated with it. Pulled it out of the steaks and going to check out the next day. What I found it needed to be charged up and the reason for was it turned on ever time I got close to it so it ran down the battery. I turned off the Bluetooth function so it wouldn't come on every time I got close. So Christmas cook a prime Angus prime rib and it worked flawless. Love it! So glad I bought it. Had to figure it out which was my fault that I ran down the battery before you even put it into meat. The temperature was spot on and the roast turned out perfect. I would definitely buy another one.

Works good but limited range. However, why check the temperature from across the house. Main convenience is not having to reach into the hot oven to check the temperature.

I am loving this wireless meat thermometer, easy to use and set up and works great!First impression was how nice it looked, the wooden base and thermometer feel very sturdy, well made and good quality materials. Set-up was quick and easy to download the app and connect the thermometer, takes just a couple minutes and you’re ready to go. I used this to cook a tri tip roast first and loved how well it worked, the app has lots of great features and options to work with. I love that you can setup the thermometer to let you know when the meat reachers a certain temperature/doneness or just as a timer option. It also has good signal strength, I kept the base on the counter near the oven and th signal reached my phone in the living room so could relax and watch tv and be notified on my phone as the meat was cooking.This has become one of my favorite tools and has worked so well…perfect meat every time. Am excited to use this during holiday cooking like the thanksgiving turkey…going to make the process so much easier. Highly recommend!
