Overall really good shield for practise. Only minus i can found it is quite heavy. For stronger guys its ok, but for females it's way too heavy.

Great training shield. Very strong & solid build. The size is not to bad. It would be even better if it was a 22" instead of 19". But it is what it is. Im happy with the purchase.

Wikinger Schild Versand war sehr schnell und optimal. Das Schild ist ausgezeichnet genau wie es mir vorgestellt habe und robust würde ich immer weiter empfehlen.

Jeder, der gerne mit Schwert und Schild übt, sollte sich diesen Schild kaufen.

This shield has taken immense punishment with only scuffs and not even scratches. My buddy broke his solid oak staff in a duel with my other buddy. It is reasonably light weight and a fine choice if you want something bigger than the buckler. The only issue is the nuts and washers. They are too easy to lose so get lock nuts or lock washers. To the best of my knowledge they are 3/4.

I would trust it if I had to in a real situation lacking something more appropriate to get me outta dodge but don't quote me on that it's just my opinion.

A fantastic shield!!! Incredibly durable, nice solid weight :) me and my friend use it full full contact sparring with other wooden and polypropene weapons.
