Pros: It fits my particular version of the 24-70mm 2.8 GM gen1 and clicks in securing it to the lens. I paid sub $20 vs $50+ for an authentic OEM hood from some random third party site.Cons: Plastic is very cheap feeling compared to the typical lens hood that comes with new lenses. The fit can be tedious, the treads arent perfect, but after some tinkering i can get it secured to the lens. Is not compatible with my 82mm K&F VND filter. (Solution- i used two step up rings to extend the threads past the hood base, this causes some minor vignetting but for the price i paid i can live with it.)Overall exactly what i expected and cheap enough that i wont feel bad about making some modifications to better access my vnd.

Smoothly and firmly snaps into place on the Sony GM 24-70 f2.8 (original). It doesn't show at all in the corners of the image, even at the widest angle. Minus one star for the absence of flocking on the inside ring surface. It is a plastic matte finish so it's probably fine but I'd feel more confident in the hood's ability to prevent reflected light if the inside were flocked like the OEM hood.

Und zwar genauso gut, wie das Original Sony. Ich hatte ja gerne, nachdem es gebrochen war, erneut ein Original gekauft, das ist aber so unverschämt teuer, dass ich das trotz fehlenden Bewertungen jetzt ausprobieren will. Und bisher sehe ich keine Unterschiede. Einzig optisch ist es durch den großen Aufdruck nicht so gelungen.

Blocks the glare of the sun. However, attaching it can be a bit frustrating if you don't have it perfectly flush with the Lens
